I finished work on the 10th and we left on the 11th for Sproat lake on Vancouver Island. We spent a glorious 6 days enjoying the water and the sunshine. We took a day trip to Long Beach (part of the Twilight Saga was filmed there) and Tofino. The Provincial Park was pretty dusty but it was a nice change from the city.
We are excited to take a few weeks to settle into the house before heading back to school for the new year. I tackled A's room today. Boxes and boxes of books. Her walk in closet is now a library. I've tried to make sure that the shelves won't come tumbling down with the weight of the books. Let's hope they hold up.
Tomorrow is C's room and then the main floor. The basement is last on the list of things that need to get done. But I'd like to see it functional before the start of the school year. My scrapbook room with have to wait until I can get some flooring put down. I really want it to be a comfortable space that I can enjoy for many years to come.
