Happy Halloween

Sitting in the rain, listening to it hit the roof of the car.  Watching the oldest ride a horse around a ring.  It’s wet.  Good thing for a covered arena.  Mr. C had a great time skating today.  His dad walked over to catch him on video.  It was too cute and I loved seeing the little clips on facebook.  It’s hard being a working parent when you really want to be a part of the kids field trips etc.  There are treats ready for tomorrow’s multiple Halloween parties and costumes ready to go ( I have to pull out the sewing machine to fix the youngest Ryan’s costume…Minnie can’t have a torn sleeve).
Next week will be a bit chaotic with John being in Bamfield and then Parent/Teacher interviews next week.  Supposedly I’m almost booked up already!  That’s what happens when you’re such a popular teacher ;-)…wink wink.   But seriously that’s what happens when you teach math!  I’m not looking forward to the work days that he will be away…it’s a crazy life in the mornings and evenings of a busy work day.  It’s good practice for when he’s away in Ontario the following week.  While he’s visiting with Family and Friends we’ll be here hanging with Grandpa (for the long weekend), making sure we do our homework and I’ll make sure to feed the kids ( didn’t say whether or not it would be healthy food or not).
Here are a couple of photos of the treats that we made for various parties.  Happy Halloween Everyone!
