Sitting in the traffic to get on the 99 this morning with
the snow all around. Fun times. I don’t get car sick so I’m able to type and
watch the computer screen while John drives.
We are creeping along at a snails pace.
We will be lucky to make it into work on time this morning by the looks
of it. It’s a gong show.
There is no snow on the actual roads but it’s amazing how it
brings the city to it’s knees. I can see
that if this is how the winter commute is going to be I may end up pulling out
my hair. ARGHHHH.
On a lighter note.
The oldest had her first horse show on the weekend. She did a great
job. She was so happy to have the whole
family watching her. Our neighbor’s
daughter was also in the show so that was nice that she had a friend to hang
out with. Next time we may have to
bring more blankets to keep us warm. It
was a bit chilly in the barn.
We came home and all warmed up as the weather took a turn
for the worse with the rain and wind. We
relaxed in the family room and enjoyed a great dinner with my folks.
Four work days left and then Winter Vacation! Whoot, Whoot!
The kids are getting more excited everyday! Especially the youngest. She’s pretty jazzed about the entire
thing. She saw the snow this morning and
said “Yeah, Santa can take us for a ride on his sleigh now!” At this moment I think it might be a faster way into work that’s for
sure!
