So last week I got inspired by a pin from a friend ( I am not on Pinterest) that she had linked to her facebook page. As most of you know I love to bake...hence the name of my blog. I originally thought I'd be blogging about baking not my family but I think I can do both. Mix it up a bit. Keep you on your toes. Anyhooo...
I found this site and THIS cake....Polka Dots. How cool is that? Since I knew I was heading to Target on Sunday, I was excited to see if I could find a similar pan to the one used. I did, but mine is smaller. Only makes 12 small dots.
This is the start of something AMAZING. Well, I'm not sure if it will be amazing but I hope it will be pretty cool. I'm making a cake to send to daycare with the littlest one on Friday. She's turning three( and it just so happens that my Daycare Providers Daughter has a birthday on the same day). My second set of dots turned out much better then my first. I'm learning on the fly. So these babies are in the freezer awaiting placement in the cake. Since they are smaller then the ones used on the website I may have to think of something. Oh I can't wait to share the results. Stay tuned!
