The reason I started blogging in the first place was that I wanted to blog about baking. It hasn't turned out that way but today I decided to document making 3 chip jumbo cookies ( thanks Teralie). I was listening to music on my iPad and taking pictures at the same time. The kids were out swimming with their dad and I could take my time and enjoy the process like I use to. Just me and my kitchen. Oh and my amazing baking tools. My kitchen aid, my pampered chef cookie sheets and cookie scoop. My pantry is always stocked with milk, semi sweet and white chocolate chips, as well as butterscotch chips, peanut butter chips, Heath bar chips, mini m&m's and anything else I can find. Yesterday I made these:
With Arwyn....gingersnaps. It wasn't as quiet making these ones. Arwyn rolled them all is sugar. It was a bit of a mess but kept her occupied for some time. It only made 24 and I'd rather spend the time to make a BIG batch of cookies. Today's patch makes almost 5 dozen...now that's what I'm talking about.
