My son is a dancing machine. He hit the dance floor before anybody else and found some admirers. Everyone loved his moves and his style. We've had a busy day. Up at 7:00 am and it has been non stop all day. He accompanied me to the various selections of the conference. I would listen to the speaker while he watched a movie on my laptop. We saw Dr. Mackenzie ( a Orthopedist from Depont Children's Hospital), Dr. Patel ( a geneticist from Vancouver) and then we went for lunch. After lunch we hit the pool for a couple of hours. He swam while I sat on the side of the pool. We attended a parent workshop in the afternoon ( he watched Megamind). After that we came back to the hotel room to get ready for the banquet. We both dressed up. Looking sharp, we headed down for the group LP photo. It was suppose to be taken outside but because of the snow and weather was taken on the dance floor indoors.
We sat at a table with Kim, Lark, Max, Wendy, Ethan and another lovely lp that was there on her own. Connor had chicken strips and fries while I enjoyed the buffet dinner. He hit the dance floor after dessert and didn't stop for a couple of hours. He learned the chicken dance and YMCA. I took quite a few photos tonight and can't wait to share them. When he asked to sit in my lap and put his head on my chest and closed his eyes, I knew it was time to call it a night. We said goodnight to daddy on skype and he was asleep within five minutes. Again, I sit and listen to the sounds of his snores ( and yes Steph, it is payback!). I'm grateful to have this time here with him. It was something that I really needed. Tomorrow there is no set schedule or agenda. I hope we will sleep in, go for breakfast and then a nice swim. Check out and head for home. Looking forward to seeing my girls and their daddy tomorrow.
