Today was a good day in my teaching career. Today I conquered Sine Law ( Ambiguous Case)...I conquered it for the students. You see, I hate the ambiguous case with a passion ( I get all confused, forget the details, get frustrated and annoyed every time I teach the #$%& topic). But today...I rocked it. Thanks so much to my fellow teacher Lisa for helping me out. I taught the subject...watched the confusion cross over their faces...and started to panic inside. I didn't want to transfer my complete hatred of the topic to them. I improvised. Drew half a triangle on the board and then taped string to one side and started to explain it all again. This time I watched as all the the light bulbs went on. It was an amazing experience. What a way to brighten the day with the light of all the light bulbs in their heads. Now if I could just get those darn grade 9's to understand circle properties, teaching life would almost be perfect.
