I've got Blogger block. Can't seem to find my mojo. Get my Groove on so to speak. English was always my worst subject in school. At University is was my lowest mark. I'm not one for any literary work of art when it comes to writing. Technical writing is more my style (hence why I went into Biochemistry). I could never pick one word, one topic or phrase and expand on it. Don't get me wrong...those that know me, know I'm fairly opinionated (stubborn, headstrong, are a few other words used).
I went back to Texada Island, the island that I grew up on (until I was 12) this past weekend. Camped out at one of my favorite beaches, swam in one of my favorite lakes ( jumped off a few cliffs) and realized I'm not as young as I once was. I use to be able to jump and climb those cliffs with amazing speed. Now, I can definitely still jump...it's the rock climbing out of the water that isn't so fast as it once was. My oldest got into the swing of it (with her oldest cousins) and I took some pretty amazing pictures. Can't wait to share them once we've got a working computer system in our new house. Less then two weeks. The countdown is on!
