my journey south

Today, my roomie dropped me off at work and then picked me up and we went south for some shopping and for our favorite dinner place ( the Olive Garden).  Our first stop was Trader Joes.  I picked up some lemon curd for my mom (AKA lemon Butter)...surprise Grandma!  And a few other treats.  Bought the two teens some fun pop you can't get there ( vanilla coke zero and cherry coke zero).  It was relatively tame for me (although I had to pick up my September stash of glue sticks, scissors and pencil crayons for my students) .  I would have loved to buy a new bedding set for the new bed that we are hoping to get when we move in.  They were lovely.
I had a good time.  It was relaxing and so good to have the bum warmer to warm up my hands that were so cold from the AC at work.  My classes are leveling off at 15 in the Am and 16 in the PM (Students),  nice numbers for sure.  Tomorrow night another dinner out and a visit while I try and make the most of these last controlled moments.  LPBC Meeting Wednesday night.  Can't wait to show the executive my new folders.  I've been working hard on the awareness packages and am impressed with myself.  Can't wait to have my own LPBC space in the new den!  All organized and ready for all the new families and programs around BC.
