One car in...

There is enough room for one car in the Garage...whoot, whoot!  A big shout out to my hubby for working so hard tonight to get it done.  I REALLY wanted to be able to park our commuter car inside to keep it nice and cozy for those rainy autumn and chilly winter mornings.  Goal accomplished.  While John was busy cleaning up and re-shuffling the boxes.  I ( and A)made a lovely peach cobbler.  Straight out of the oven with some icecream...yum!  A wonderful treat to make all the work worth it!
Today the kids got their new classes for the year.  A seems pleased with her grade 5 teacher and C is "fine" with his teacher.  We are not so sure we are "fine" with the arrangement but John will go and speak with someone tomorrow.  I'm frustrated with the lack of communication this year.  Last year we were involved in all choices and were aware of every decision along the way.  This year not so much(we've had no communication what so ever).  It's making me nervous and a bit stressed.  For the last few days C has been all about school.  "can't wait til tomorrow", "is it Monday yet?".  His favorite part of the day was that he couldn't wait to go to school.  Today his favorite part of the day was going to be "resting in his bed".  He is not with his two closest buddies from K and I think he's a little sad.  Part of this situation stems from EA coverage and the lack of support for students with special needs in the classroom.  It is truly frustrating from the perspective of the parent and as a teacher with 3 EA's in her classes this year.  Here's hoping John can get some answers when he arrives at the school tomorrow morning.  Here's hoping that I will feel fine with the answers he gets.
