Today John left for Ontario and my week has begun. My dad is here to help until Monday ( Thanks Grandpa). We are going to take him to Chucky Cheese tonight...the kids are excited to take their Grandfather to one of their favorite places. It will be an experience for my Dad that's for sure. My dad is busy doing things around the house...he loves to have stuff to do. I have a nice long list that should keep him busy for the weekend. Some small repairs, yardwork and hanging with the grandkids!
This morning we took the car in to have the windshield fixed. A rock hit it last week and the next day a lovely crack along the bottom of the windshield appeared. The timing sucked but with Dad here it could get done. We added a trip to Costco and Superstore and the morning was finished. I've put the littlest one down for a nap...but she's still wide awake. I'll leave her for an hour or so before I go up and get her.
Mr. C and the oldest are watching a really cheesy Power Rangers episode while I sit here and type. Laundry is all done and put away. The dishes are done and since we are heading out to CC, I don't have to worry about dinner. Relaxation time.
Tomorrow is Remembrance Day. I'm happy that by working in a school I can enjoy a ceremony to remember those who have fought for our Country. It is nice to have that yearly reminder.
