I love to decorate for the holidays and last year I found some amazing wall stickers that I adored. This year I went in search of the same ones, thinking that I bought them at a dollar store. I was wrong...Walmart. So I picked some up today and started decorating the walls earlier tonight. I then realized that I have a much bigger house and I will need a few more wall decorations. I brought in a big ladder and put up some of my favorites in the main entrance. The kids helped out. The oldest held the ladder while I reached to the highest parts of my roof line. The younger two put up a few snowflakes here and there...ran under the ladder with mommy perched precariously on the top.
I'm on the hunt for a fake tree for the main living room. I need to have the house decorated by the 1st for the LPBC holiday gathering and it's a bit too early for a real one at that point. I saw some lovely decorations at Walmart and maybe a tree or two...but are they big enough? I'll be in the full holiday swing once I start baking but that won't happen until Mommy has a bit of down time when Daddy returns. Until then I'll start doing a few things here and there to sparkle up the house and maybe put on a little Glee Christmas music. Baby it's cold outside...
