LPBC ( Little People of British Columbia) and LPA ( Little People of America) are two organizations that we belong to as a family. I found both just after Connor was born. I am now part of the executive for LPBC and have very strong feelings about being involved. Not just for Connor, but for all of us. LPBC is a small but determined group of LP adults and Parents of LP's. There has definitely been ups and downs to the organization but over the past two years there have definitely been more "ups" then downs. With the passing of Rhys we have grown closer, stronger and I feel a bit more determined to bring awareness to others as well as support to other LP families across BC. The out pouring of love and support from across Canada as well as from the large LPA community in the States has been amazing. There is lots of support for families out there but it is a matter of finding it. Spread the word. If you google "Little People of BC" you can find us. We also have a page on Facebook ( a closed group and an open page).
