We made an offer. I have my fingers crossed. Will it be accepted? Will the inspection say it's ok? Will it work for us? We should know tomorrow night one way or another if it's going to be for us. When we bought our current home, it was the last one of 8 viewings on one day. The market at the time required us to move fast. The house had been on the market a week and had multiple showings. We didn't get a second look, we acted on our gut instinct and it did not deceive us. It has been a great house. When we moved in it was just the three of us (John, Alyra and Me, oh and the cat as well) and it was perfect. It's now five us ( plus the cat and the dog) and we need a wee bit more room.
When we looked for a new home for us it required us to think about what would work for Connor. Would we be able to adapt a bathroom just for him or would we have to work around his sisters. How would we work the stair rails? Put in light switch extenders? Adjust items for his height? I think we've made the right choice. We went and took a second look today and took the kids with us. We were early so we went for a walk along a path. It opened up to a park and playground. It was perfect! The kids enjoyed running around and I burst into tears because it felt so right.
