Trying to have something fixed in your house by a "professional" is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. In order to complete the sale of our home we have signed off on four things that need attention. Loose toilets need to be fixed, hand rails down the stairs need to be tightened, the hood vent for the kitchen needs to be vented out ( we just have a circulating one at the moment) and the rodents in the attic need to be dealt with. The Rodent issue is being dealt with ( thanks to Ridpest). Last week a contractor was lined up to come and give us an estimate on the venting ( he forgot and didn't show up) then we tried again and again we were forgotten. Plumber lined up for Saturday ( and I waited all day), oops they forgot to schedule a plumber to the job. Rescheduled for today at 4 pm....oops they didn't assign a plumber again. New contractor scheduled to come tonight as well to give a quote for venting...oops job is running late and so is he. Time is ticking away and we must show documentation of these items being done. Anyone know some good, reliable plumbers and contractors that we could call...Seriously!
