Parking

We have a disability parking pass for Mr. C.  Why, you may ask?  Well he's tiny.  It takes him a lot of energy to walk.  When he was younger we could get away with a buggy but my boy wants to walk on his own.  It's sometimes painful to be patient and wait for him but he prefers it.  The parking pass allows us the freedom to park closer for him.  The boy is heavy...40 lbs of sold self.  Carrying him is not an option and he gets so tired walking long distances.  At the beginning of the year he walked to and from school with Daycare but now he gets picked up because he's just worn out, poor soul by the end of a busy day at school.  Sparc BC offers them for kids older then 3 and I highly recommend it.  The Doctor just has to sign a few papers and we send in a small service charge but it's so worth it.
We have a disability Tax Certificate for Mr. C...that required a bit more effort but I'm all about getting anything that will help out in the tiniest bit.  Mr. C's is good until he turns 18 which takes a load off for sure.  It requires persistence and a knowledgeable  Doctor to fill in the right info.  We appealed Mr. C's original denial.  It really helps when filing your taxes.  I'm all about attempting to get stuff that makes Mr. C's life easier.
