A staged House is a pretty House

Yesterday the house was "staged". This means someone came in and decorated it. We scrubbed, washed, tidied and stuffed the closest full. The frontyard was mowed, the door was painted, the flowers were planted, the mailbox was changed, the numbers were painted and the siding wash washed. On the inside we painted almost every room, changed light fixtures, updates door knobs, closet doors, kitchen cabinets, took all our "stuff" to the storage locker.
We returned home to an amazing experience. WOW can not describe our thoughts as we walked room from room. It doesn't feel like our "home" anymore....and I guess if one wants to sell it it's a good thing, but if feels like I'm living in a lottery show home. I hope that it sells quickly so that I don't have to keep hiding the fact that I have three children, a dog and a cat...oh and a husband too! But the downside to a quick sell would be the fact that we have yet to look for a new home. We might end up living with the Gramm's (they have offered a month...maybe we'll like it so much we won't leave). It takes a village ;-). But seriously, we need to take some time to go and see some new homes and to make sure we take the time to pick the one that will be our "forever" home.
