Maids of Honour

This is a treat that my Nanie use to make.  I have no idea where the name came from or who came up with the idea but let's just say it's an OLD family treat.  

It starts with pastry and tarts pans

Then it's jam

Then it's cake 

Then it's buttercream icing

And it ends in yum! Oh and a few butter tarts thrown in.
